A Sculptural Workspace Rooted in Food & Design
In the heart of Barcelona, the creative food agency Plate Selector has a new home — a thoughtful, sculptural workspace designed by Isern Serra, where food, storytelling, and interior design meet in perfect harmony.
Founded in 2014, Plate Selector is known for elevating gastronomy through curated content, events, and culinary experiences. It was only fitting that their new space would reflect the very essence of what they do: warmth, creativity, and a deep appreciation for sensory detail.

At the Center: The Kitchen as Heart
The space revolves around a dramatic kitchen island carved from Alicante red marble — a bold, grounding element that serves as both a gathering point and a visual anchor. More than just a workspace, the kitchen is treated as an architectural centerpiece that speaks to the brand’s identity.
The surrounding areas follow a soft, minimal palette of linen, beige, and white, creating a gentle backdrop that lets textures and materials shine. Light flows freely throughout the open layout, and subtle arches echo the sculptural language found in Serra’s other projects.

A Space That Feels Like Home
Isern Serra brings his signature approach of soft geometry and material sensitivity, crafting an office that feels more like a curated home than a traditional workplace. It’s calm, tactile, and intimate — a quiet stage for creativity to unfold.
From custom joinery to carefully considered lighting, every detail supports Plate Selector’s mission: to connect people through food, design, and shared moments.
